A Snow Day!!!

Yes, its actually snowing! I don't know how much will actually stick but it is enough for a snow day!! I went to work and was on my way to class to find out it was cancelled due to the weather. As much as I love class its nice to have a day to rest and get homework done. Currently, we are getting more rain than snow but maybe it will snow more later. Its not enough to play and I want to play! My roomate and I had just said last night before bed that a snow day would be nice and Jesus loves the desires of our heart. Yeah God!!! and Yeah Snow Day!!!

Busy....Homework

Life is busy as I have a bunch of homework due this week! I have a book report and a four page paper on a revival due. I have gotten my revival paper done! yeah! Now I have to work on my book report!

My Birthday!

Yesterday was my 30th Birthday and my friends took me out to celebrate!

Earthquake!

Oh my! We just had an earthquake! I was just sitting in my room and the house began to shake! WOW! While it was a little nerve wrecking it also made me thankful that I always have Jesus to cling to no matter what! Everything here is fine! We are praying for peace and that the earthquakes stay small. Amen

Beautiful Saturday!

I love Saturdays because it is my day to relax. It is such a beautiful day today! I am at home chilling out and doing my homework. I am working on my sermon! Yes, I am going to be preaching this week at school! God is Good!!

Testimonies

One of the ladies in my class her elderly mom fell over Christmas and cracked her skull. They began to pray and some more x-rays were taken and she was completely healed. Another amazing testimony is a first year student over Christmas prayed for someone who had been in a coma for 14 years and they were completely healed. God is so good! Nothing is impossible!

Preaching

I think that I am finally back into the swing of things. School has been really good this week. I found out we all have to preach within the next two weeks! Yikes! It will be good and definitely stretching! I knew I would have to preach this year but I did not know it would be this soon! The good news is that we will be in preaching groups so its not in front of the whole class. We will be evaluated by one of our leaders and by our classmates. They have different things we will be evaluated on using a scale from 1 to 5. (1. Exciting growth opportunity 2.OK 3.good 4.excellent) We were all laughing at number one and Dann told us we are always suppose to call out the gold in people. Above all, I am thankful for such a safe environment where I can step out in new areas.

Back in Redding

I made it back to Redding! I miss my family already! I had such a great time with them while I was home. We spent the day in Atlanta together the day before I left. Fun times!! I cherish my family and the times we have together. I got home yesterday evening and am getting back into the swing of things. School will start back tomorrow!!!

Friends

It is the end of a great time being at home as I will be flying back to Redding on Sunday. I was blessed yesterday because I got to have lunch with one of my very dear friends, Stacey. Stacey is amazing! We always have so much fun together talking and laughing. I love that even though we don't get to see each other very often when we do we just pick up right where we left off. That's a great friend! So many great memories! Love you, Stacey!
